In convening the inaugural 1st International Congress on Ceramics, three different committees have been formed to deal with the major challenges in the planning and execution of this complex event: 1) developing the technical program content and format; 2) ensuring worldwide and timely communication with those interested in participating; and 3) assisting the host Society, The American Ceramic Society, in overall event planning.

International Advisory Committee An International Advisory Committee has been formed to invite speakers who will lead discussions on a broad range of topics. The committee members are as follows:
