Single/Double/Triple/Quad: $219.00CDN
Student: $199.00CDN

All rates shown are subject to the appropriate state, local, and any occupancy taxes in effect at the time of the meeting. These taxes are currently 5% Provincial Sales Tax, 7% Goods and Services Tax and 3% Destination Marketing Fee, per room night occupied.

All reservation requests will require one night’s deposit. Personal checks, money orders or a valid major credit card will be needed for the deposit. Deposits will be refunded for rooms cancelled more than 24 hours prior to arrival. Name changes to room reservations may be made up to 24 hours prior to arrival at no charge.


Transportation Information

Ground Transportation information counters can be found on the Arrivals level of Terminals 2 and 3 and on the Ground level of Terminal 1 of Toronto’s Lester B. Pearson International Airport.

GTAA Taxis to the downtown core cost an average of $50

Limousines
GTAA Limousines to the downtown core cost an average of $60

Shuttle Bus
Airport Express provides shuttle service to the downtown core hotels on a daily basis. They operate on a half hour schedule, departing from the airport terminals and downtown hotels every 30 minutes. Return tickets cost $28.35 as of December 2005. A full schedule is available on the website at http://www.torontoairportexpress.com/

Rental Cars
There are a variety of car rental agencies located at Pearson Airport. Customers may pick up and return their rental cars on the first and/or the basement level of Terminal 1 parking garage, and/or on the ground level of the parking garages in Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Visa Information For Congress Attendees

Canada does not require a visa for people who meet the following requirements:

  • citizens of Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Botswana, Brunei, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel (National Passport holders only), Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Portugal, Republic of Korea, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, San Marino, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Spain, Swaziland, Sweden, Slovenia, Switzerland, United States, and Western Samoa;

  • persons lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence who are in possession of their alien registration card (Green card) or can provide other evidence of permanent residence.

  • British citizens and British Overseas Citizens who are re-admissible to the United Kingdom;

  • citizens of British dependent territories who derive their citizenship through birth, descent, registration or naturalization in one of the British dependent territories of Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, Pitcairn, St. Helena or the Turks and Caicos Islands;

  • persons holding a valid and subsisting Special Administrative Region passport issued by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China;

  • persons holding passports or travel documents issued by the Holy See.
