Electronics Division
Edward C. Henry Best Paper Award |
Sponsored by: Electronics Division, The American Ceramic Society
Scope: The Edward C. Henry Electronics Division Best Paper Award is given annually to an outstanding paper reporting original work in the Journal or Bulletin of the American Ceramic Society during the previous calendar year on a subject related to electronic materials. The winning paper is selected by the Committee on Awards and Scholarships and judged to reflect the best in originality, scientific/technical merit, and quality & presentation.
Award Presentation: Winner(s) of the Best Paper Award will be presented with a Certificate Plaque and $500 at the ACerS Annual Meeting.
Nomination Deadline: March 15.
Nomination Process: Any member of the Electronics Division may nominate up to three papers to be considered by the Awards and Scholarships Committee. A valid nomination for each paper should contain (a) the name and member number of the nominator, (b) the title, author(s), and the publication details of the paper being nominated, and (c) up to one page description in support of the nomination. The one page support information might include descriptions on the originality, the scientific/technical merit, and the quality/presentation of the paper. Papers nominated by the members and nominated by the Awards and Scholarships Committee will be evaluated equally. Papers authored or co-authored by a current member of the Awards and Scholarships Committee are excluded from the award consideration.
