The “Who’s Who” of Ceramics and Glass technologies to lead global discussions on the industries future directions at the 1st International Congress on Ceramics
WESTERVILLE, OHIO, April 20, 2006 — The American Ceramic Society, in collaboration with the European Ceramic Society and the Ceramic Society of Japan will convene the 1st International Congress on Ceramics, June 25-29, 2006, at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel, Toronto, Canada.

More than 80 forward-looking industry and technology leaders are slated to share global perspectives and ideas on future trends by addressing a broad range of Ceramics and Glass applications that are critical to the technologies of tomorrow – energy, environment, consumer products, medicine and biology, electronics, glass and optical materials, and transportation. Opening the forum is Kazuo Inamori, Founder/Chairman Emeritus, Kyocera Corporation. Joining Dr. Inamori in leading the high-level discussions at the four-day forum are:
