International Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology Premier Issue Debut
WESTERVILLE, OHIO — The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) announces the debut of the premier issue of International Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology (ISSN: 1546-542X). This new quarterly periodical provides the most recent information on ceramic product development and commercialization for engineers, manufacturers, and research and development scientists.

Each issue focuses on a high-interest, high-impact topic plus includes a range of papers detailing applications of ceramics. Special topics covered in the first year include fuel cells, nanotechnology, ceramic armor and thermal and environmental barrier coatings.

Led by an editorial board of experts from industry, government, and universities, the International Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology is designed to get high quality information to end users. Both invited and selected papers will be peer reviewed by at least two referees to ensure technical quality. Dr. H-T. Lin, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, Tenn., is the Editorial Board Chair.
