Description Square, hand decorated tile from Carthage, Africa. Eight pointed star painted in brown and white with four circular dots surrounding star. Yellow organic design flows out from star on face of tile.

Notes F.C. Flint was the original donor of the tile. It was originally given to him by Mr. P.R. Bullard of the Golding-Keene Co., Keene, N.H. Mr. Bullard, on a recent trip to Europe, picked up a number of these [tiles] and was kind enough to send me [Mr. Flint] one of them. This tile comes from an old Moorish home with an authenticated history of 500 years.
