Description A large milk glass globe with color samples painted around the upper body of the piece.Recessed base and large, open hole at top. Piece is hollow.

Notes This was probably a decorating shop palette. Several colors shown on the globe were used for most all types of overglaze decoration. They were primarily put on glass so that you could see the depth of the color and determine the truer value of the colors incorporated.
