Description Round, molded, decal decorated, purple, gold and white, half tone photograph of a man in the center, "CHAIRMAN'S AWARD FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE" above the photograph, "19" on the left and "52" to the right of the photograph, "SOUTHERN CALIFRONIA SECTION AMERICAN CERAMIC SOCIETY" beneath the photograph, the center motif is ringed with a gold circle, raised rim, between the center motif and the rim is a purple and white floral and leaf design on a grid background, the rim is gold with names in purple, beginning at the top and going clockwise: "DICK HAECKER JOHN WURTZ BOB SINCLAIR AL MELVILLE JOHN BOROS JANE ELLIS DAVE BRANT AL GRIFFITH ED DIETTERLE JOE TAYLOR", on the back are three lists of names for the Honor Rolls of 1950, 1951 and 1952, also on the bottom are images of the buildings of the Vernon Kilns in 1916 and 1948
