End of Exhibit Record 94/94 Catalog Record Sculpture Exhibit Page Museum Home Search Image 2 of 2 Description  A sculptural piece representing a water tank composed of a variety of elements including an oblong ceramic tank held up by four metal bars (re-bar) that act as feet. A top that resembles a water main cover with a hole in it that is covered by a washer and plug that is connected with a linked chain attached to a metal bar bent to a forty-five degree shape which begins inside the top(hole) and extends upward 80 cm to the bend. A ceramic funnel shaped element hangs from the bar down over the hole and is suspended by another piece of linked chain. The funnel shaped item has alternating black and white horizontal bands. The tank is red on one side- blue and green horizontal stripes on one end and half of the back- with red and blue horizontal stripes on the other end. This end also has a ceramic faucet for "draining" the tank Two rectangular shaped ceramic signs are attached to the main tank. One reads "H 2 O" and is dirty white with blue letters and numerals. The other is similar is size and shape and reads "T" in blue and "ANK" in black and it is made to look like it has been added at some later time than the original sign.
